My people are writing this part as I was under the couch and they didn't tell me much.
Left Bellingham RV Park around 8:30am and went to Fred Meyer to fuel up. Diesel was $2.83 gal....best we seen for awhile. Sunday morning is a good time to go, not many there and they are always very busy at other times.
The Sumas border crossing was a breeze too. We were one of three and the other two were cars. The only thing we had to give up were the potatoes (baking and yams). However, I forgot to tell him about the onions, garlic and carrots. No citrus was taken and I got to keep my avocados.
Had forgotten how beautiful the drive north is. Lush green trees, fields, mountains and even though it threatened rain, the clouds hugging the mountain tops with wisps of white clouds hanging on to the tree tops was picturesque. No I didn't take any pictures as bug juice is still on the front window and you just don't pull a 39'
mtrhm with a towed car to the side of the road at a whim.

As you get further north, the forest thins and vegetation becomes more dessert like. The interior part of BC actually is a dessert. At Cache Creek we saw blue sky and some sun, then clouds with sprinkles came through again, but we quickly drove out of them. We stopped for a lunch break at the pull out at 6 Mile Lake. Not sure why it is called 6 Mile Lake, as it is a small lake. Tonight we are 3 miles south of Lac La
Hache, BC on Hwy 97. We are in a small campground just off the highway, but that is fine. It was empty when we pulled in, but will fill up with
overnighters soon. Nice people own this park, even gave us a 10% discount as we didn't need full hook ups. In fact, we have always found Canadians to be very pleasant and we enjoy meeting and talking with them.

Cleo is taking a break for now. But she wants you to know she is really happy with this park. #1 the sun is shining, #2 it has trees, #3 there was deer (a buck) that just past by the front of the motor home. And, no, I didn't have my camera ready.
